Marine Rack System

At the core of the marine rack system (MRS) are high energy lithium-ion G/NMC cells that are manufactured in Europe by Leclanché.

The cells are fitted into robust modules of the required configuration and these are then packaged into IP65 rated enclosures that are designed specifically for harsh maritime environments.

The IP65 enclosures are assembled into the required MRS rack size depending on the application, along with a dedicated in-house designed battery management system (BMS).

 

Cells & Modules

• High energy 60Ah G/NMC cells, with Industry-leading Cycle life: 8,000 at 80% depth of discharge (DoD) (4,500 at 100% DoD).
• Modules of different configurations are available depending on the requirements of each application.
• All modules are fitted in water resistant IP65 enclosures with integrated water-cooling plate

• Independent ventilation ducting system to actively extract hot and flammable gases
• Real time access to battery status, performance and diagnostic data via a comprehensive user interface.

• Comes with 230 VAC power supply or an isolated DC/DC power supply

 

MRS Product Range

• The control cabinet contains the battery management system and is similar in size to an MRS.3 rack.
• This can either be integrated into the MRS string or installed separately as a stand-alone unit.
• Each control cabinet can control up to 60 modules in an MRS string.
